In Nov 2017 I visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Japan. I bought a chocolate frog. I brought it home. And then I forgot about it. Today I found it. Of course, the frog had to die! And be eaten. The packet contained a Godric Gryffindor card. 😀

THE DARK CRYSTAL (1982)
What an extraordinary film. I never tire of rewatching it. Epic and magnificently detailed, it creates such an immersive world. I am swept away every time. I only hope they don’t stuff things up with the new series.

Diverse teens survive the Zombie Apocalypse. But dealing with zombies is only half the prob. Also need to cope with friendships, feelings, etc. And random humans are often more dangerous than the undead. Funny, sad, dramatic, heart-poundingly exciting!

Despite all its cheesiness, despite the often corny dialogue, despite the unfathomable leaps in logic, despite all the embarrassing sexism... I still love the original BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.

Lack of leg room + GORSKI’S BITEMARE for my Qantas flight home. Only one of these things is enjoyable.
