Wow! As a fan of the original movie, this Netflix prequel series is an utter joy from start to finish. Faithful to the original, it manages also to build on it and create something new.

Finished season 1 of ATTACK ON TITAN. So long as you can suspend disbelief regarding the aerodynamic impossibility of the military gear, it’s pretty cool! Exciting, stylish, brutal and intriguing series. Will go on to season 2 soon.

Went to the launch of the Arts Alumni Careers Mentoring program for 2019 at the University of Melbourne. Held in the Research Lounge of the Arts West building. Wow! What an amazing facility. It opened in 2017. It is beautiful. And the wallpaper in the Research Lounge is gorgeous.

Brief stop in Ballarat on the way to Horsham, to stretch my legs and have some lunch. The mall has this amazing display of umbrellas that you walk under.

Such a lovely book! Came across it in my local library. Love Sandy’s writing, but hadn’t realised she’d written this. What an oversight. Must get a copy. Such a wonderfully uplifting story with beautifying illos.

Don’t you just love getting a book ahead of everyone else? Because @michaeljpryor was speaking at @willylitfest , their bookshop had copies of GRAVEYARD SHIFT IN GHOST TOWN even though it’s not officially released until July. So cool!

Watched the final ep of DEATH PARADE last night. An extraordinary anime series. So much depth, character and world building in just 12 short episodes. Loved the little nod to DEATH NOTE.
