I really should try to commit to writing for 20 minutes every day. Fill in the slots. Add dialogue. Rewrite the story. Repeat until I have something I’m really proud of. Then start again.

I wanted to look up some comics sword fighting as pacing inspiration for the final battle in Morningstar. Pulled up an issue of the manga series LONE WOLF AND CUB by writer Kazuo Koike & artist Goseki Kojima.

I hadn’t realized how much Kojima’s art influenced me over the years.
