And while Selene and Clara have both been featured in illustrations, the most Jill does is appear in a reflection in a corner.
With Jill, it's not her appearance, but her actions (and their consequences), that make the real impact.
And I just kept thinking: "This would be SO different if the main characters were women. Or queer. Or not white. Or a scientist." And pretty soon I had a story.
Right so once upon a time I was having to make a four hour drive twice a week every month or so. At the same time I was watching a lot of Supernatural and getting frustrated (as I always do) at the lack of female perspective. And the inevitable happened…
