13. Rival Silver

I'll admit that Bede kind of stole my heart during my playthrough of Pokemon Sword, but I still believe that no rival has surpassed Silver in terms of quality. Great character growth, great concept, and his development is subtle thanks to his choice of Pokemon.

16. Dorothea & Bernadetta / Claude & Marianne / Petra & Ignatz

These three spring to mind when I think of great support conversations. Dorothea is the friend Bernie needed, Claude practically saves Marianne from herself, and the glasses talk between Petra and Ignatz is precious.
