Knights of X (2022) #4
The Knights must contend with their deepest and innermost self. Writer Tini Howard, Artist Bob Quinn, Colorist Erick Arciniega: As a longtime X-reader, I no longer find the inner-demons plot line thematically interesting. 3/5
A.X.E.: Eve of Judgment (2022) #1
Prime Eternal Druig has Domo prepare an anti-matter bomb to destroy Krakoa to wipe out the Mutants. Writer Kieron Gillen, Artist Pasqual Ferry, Colorist Dean White: Lengthy set-up to Judgment Day — almost all tell and very little show. 3/5
Magic Order 3 #3
Young Rosie Moonstone is assigned by her Magic teacher to hunt ghost gangsters. Writer Mark Millar, Artist Gigi Cavenago, Colorist Valentina Napolitano: A clever character side-bar and set up for next issue. 4/5
Criminal Macabre/Count Crowley: From the Pit They Came
While attending a Horror Convention, Jerri Bartman runs into a slime beast and fellow monster hunter Cal McDonald. Writers Steve Niles & David Dastmalchian, Artist Lukas Ketner, Colorist Lauren Affe: Fun for fans of both. 4/5
Lazarus: Risen #7
Forever, Lazarus of the Carlyle family, makes a startling choice. Writer Greg Rucka, Artist Michael Lark, Colorist Santiago Arcas: Astounding conclusion to Fracture II arc! Along with Saga, best book out, but 7 “quarterly” issues in 3 1/2 years has hurt. 5/5
Marauders (2022) #4
The Marauders rescues is interrupted by a Shi'ar history lesson. Writer Steve Orlando, Artist Eleonora Carlini, Colorist Matt Milla: Too much narrative text driving the story. 3/5
Friday morning cartoons that I watched on MeTV’s “Toon In With Me!”
Road Runner in Boulder Wham (1965)
Pip-eye, Pup-eye, Poop-eye An’ Peep-eye (1942)
Pink Panther in Pink Ice (1965)
Speedy in Daffy's Diner (1967)
Tom in Jerry and the Goldfish (1951)
#ToonInWithMe #GregSatMornToon
@disgruntmonkey The Pink Panther got more publicity, but not only did Snagglepuss precede him by two years (1961 to 1963), but was much better at remembering his lines — which is why the Pink Panther spoke so little in his shorts.*

Immortal X-Men (2022) #4
As Emma prepares for what could be a tumultuous Gala, another explosive event occurs in the form of Mr. Sinister. Writer Kieron Gillen, Artist Michele Bandini, Colorist David Curiel: An interesting, but ultimately unsatisfying inner dialog with Emma. 4/5
Daredevil (2022) #1
Daredevil says his goodbyes in New York, before leaving to join Elektra. Writer Chip Zdarsky, Artists Marco Checchetto & Rafael De Latorre, Colorist Matthew Wilson: An excellent two-tiered story, transitioning from Zdarsky’s past stories to the new one. 4.5/5
