Fantastic Four (2018) #26
The Forever Gate is open and beings from multiple realities are coming through. Writer Dan Slott, Artist R. B. Silva, Colorist Jesus Aburtov: The spectacle somewhat overwhelms the smaller, individual stories, but it does allow to R. B. Silva to flex. 4/5

The challenge of Champions continues. Writers Gerry Duggan & Benjamin Percy, Artist Joshua Cassara, Colorist GURU eFX: Despite all the gruesome violence and sudden deaths, a surprisingly witty and entertaining chapter of X of Swords. 4/5

The Amazing Spider-Man (2018) #52
Kindred and Spider-Man face off. Writer Nick Spencer, Artist Patrick Gleason, Colorist Edgar Delgado: This issue is well-written and dramatically drawn, but, as a long-time Spider-fan and comic reader, this doesn’t have the impact it should. 3/5
Marauders (2019) #15
Some of Saturnyne’s dinners have bad manners. Writers Gerry Duggan & Benjamin Percy, Artist Stefano Caselli, Colorist Edgar Delgado: Delicious tension builds to a near-breaking point, and its palpable when Krakoa’s most powerful mutants taste fear. 4.5/5
