There are a lot of amazing sidescroller RPGs out there, but nothing so far has even come close to capturing the retro fantasy anime vibes of Popful Mail and I'm REALLY hoping that something does (or tries) one day. What a fantastic game!

@sjmtaelus Thanks!! I'll probably make games in this world one day, maybe with some of the GBC-style assets I'm making for RPG makers. I've run a weekly 2.5 year campaign in this world now and it's well on its way to being ready for publishing.

I got some more caverns maps made tonight, and mocked up a battle against some grumps.
