Like a fool, I finished the daily art challenge whumptober and have now rolled right along into the daily art challenge comfortvember, because hurt/comfort is a Good Trope. I will continue to cause trouble in the name of cozy cuddles with my favorite fantasy king and his friends.
For better or worse, I finished whumptober. A smidge late, but I filled every single prompt, all 31 days.
I've never done an art challenge like this, and as hard as it was to do, I'm happy I stuck to it and finished! (so much angst, but fun~) ( . . . comfortvember time now?)
It's the last day of Whumptober today--and I'm behind on my daily pieces, shock and surprise. Let's see if I can catch up. Anticipate one last post of angsty art~!
(I very much think the ice curse Icebella gives Graham should have been more of a spreading threat)
Yes, I'm still willfully working with whumptober.
Here's the top four dailies from the last week.
The dragon one may end up being my favorite--I'm really delighted by it, even if Graham isn't so impressed.

Am I still doin' that wacky daily art challenge known as whumptober?
Yep, and it's as ridiculously angsty as ever, but I'm still proud of me for sticking with it. Top four from the last week:
(includes my Royal Guard Number One facecanon, nice.)
Normally every week I have a fully complete King's Quest fanart to post. This month I'm doing one of the daily art challenge themes and don't have time to *also* finish nicer drawings.
Which theme did I pick?
Uhh...whumptober. /cough. Last week's top 4:
Once upon a time, there lived a brave goblin who loved adventures. His adventures were so legendary, the goblins decided to make him king. But he was overwhelmed…until he realized that he wasn’t here to continue a previous legacy. He was here to create his own.

Once upon a time, in a town just like the one you’re imagining, there was a beautiful castle that stood high on a hill.

(evil schemes are best used spearingly to ensure that the point is sharply made.)
I rarely know what I'm doing, but I'm stubborn enough to keep trying and force myself to get better, even on things that I once would sign off on as okay. I'm still not where I want to be, but I refuse to give up.
