I love Illustrations and sometimes they are overlooked as art. I always look at every bookcover, every product that comes into our house to look for illustrations. Newspapers too

Interesting to see the real model for
D.G. Rossetti. First one Alexa Wilding in Ghirlandata in 1873 and in Veronica Veronese secondly 1872.

Oh well at least it’s cuddly !

My first eight today 2x4 are by a power couple in their day, William and Evelyn Dr Morgan. Ladies first Evelyn, (1855-1919) Pre Raphaelite artist. I’ve seen her work at a Cragside House exhibition. Stunning
