Zurab Martiashvili the younger brother’s work is different and indeed he has a wicked imagination. The Shepherdess with her crook is also a jigsaw puzzle from jigidi
I’ll put his work into a four so you can get an idea of Franco Matticchio’s style. I love his friends the penguins waiting to play with him.
From his Bubble Street Studio we have the wonderfully obscure art of Daniel Merriam.
Halloween is almost upon us and these ‘ladies’ are a fitting sight for that witching night. What an imagination
Whilst out looking for art on line I found the Pastels artist Sophie Amauger. French artist , her background is in Graphic Art but now she creates these beautiful works en plein air with a delicate touch and a fabulous use of colour.
Final four and final everything for today. I couldn’t leave one out or even two or three. These beautiful fairies were the work of Margaret Clark (1901-2000) Australian illustrator of whimsical fairies.
