‘Central Park’ by Eyvind Earle (1916-2000). His full name appears immediately when I tap it in to my alphabet. He was responsible for the styling, background and colours for the highly acclaimed film Sleeping Beauty by Walt Disney for whom he worked for many years

Now four paintings by railway artist Philip Dennis Hawkins. British painter of steam trains. He is considered one the best in this genre for atmosphere and technical detail . He founded the Guild of Railway Artists and was elected a Fellow in 1998

Another Emma Forrester ‘Eternal Bow’ Acrylic ,Collage and Metal Leaf on Gesso Panel . I really like this new ( to me ) painter and it made me think of our garden in Beverley which was huge ( the reason we moved) and how I miss it

Another new painter ( to me) now Alex Bertaina Title is ‘Places that I’ve never seen’ Italian artist ( Cuneo) North West Italy. I like his colour palette here.

Hello again. Lovely painting to begin our pictures after lunch. Cathy Horvath Buchanan always chooses the prettiest colours. Her palette is uplifting and easy on the eye. These Tulips are fab.

More bright colours now. The weather outside is wet and miserable Dr S is cooking a lovely lunch today (roast chicken lots of veg, roast parsnips and potatoes and stuffing ). He said we deserve it! Love this by Katrina Kirilova ‘Magnolia Garden’

Jill Kerr is a Linoprint artist. There are lots to see of hers at her website. She’s a Buxton artist. I went to her website and I was impressed with the range and colours of her delightful work. I chose this for the colours .
