I wanted her design theme to be "Beauty despite Birth" - sooo in essence: She's a beautiful being, but not necessarily made from beautiful materials (However I think she is - gotta love nature!)

Colour!
Who doesn't love exploring colour palettes?
I thought I'd immediately want to do a blue palette, now I'm thinking more of the pink/blue with dark bark. Hmmm!
More exploration is needed, but I'm loving the bright schemes way more =D

I need to apply that critique & strip some detail down: giving her design some air, distributing values well & having a clear silhouette.
I need to stop getting carried away with details!

Mmmmmm the big or small shoulder it up?
I'm leaning more towards smaller I think! Trying to make sure her shape is easy to read!

Found time to narrow down some initial designs for my feminine forest creature/character! I picked three main bases I liked & started to draw ontop & push those designs even more!
I like seeing where my imagination goes :3 *dives into Pinterest*

This is only the start as I haven't had much time at all, however I scrapped a design I was working on as it just wasn't working. So now I'm playing around with shapes =D gunna try something weird next!
