I've started modelling the third ship for #IONGAZER. Blender 2.8 crapped out on me a while ago, and I had to clear my config, so I'm back to using 2.79 for modelling, though I popped these into 2.8 for the screenshots. I'm liking this ship so far =)

I've been focusing mostly on programming for #IONGAZER lately, which isn't always the most exciting to show off. Here's a new weapon greybox though, some kind of plasma cannon. =)

I simplified this model quite a bit compared to the first one I did for the game. I left out any little details as they ended up being a pain to work around. I added the details during the texturing process instead. =)

Here's the concept sketch for the second ship added to the game. It's more jet-like than the first ship, and it sacrifices a bit of maneuverability and survivability for better acceleration / shields and stealth. =)
