The student debt crisis is new and was manufactured by the previous generation. Notice the gap between living costs (green) and tuition costs (red). Notice how wide it's grown even accounting for inflation.

I could be wrong, but from this chart, it looks like YOUR generation is holding this generation back. Millenials and Gen Z's didn't make tuition costs skyrocket like this, I'll tell you that.
