Here's the one time I drew a comic with HUMANS in it. Story by Frans Hasselaar, original (somewhat more realistic) character design by Maarten Gerritsen and I got Frits Jonker to hand-letter it.

About the character: At one point another 'South of the Border' project by Disney was in development for which a group of artists traveled to Cuba. Among them was Fred Moore (my hero!), who drew a number of character design sketches of this little rooster.

FOUR caballeros! More quick roughs. I can't wait to clean up that top left one!

Now it’s a set! Some new characters have moved in since we started so I might do another (maybe!) #ACNH
