Another #StartToFinish! I often jot down an idea like the first image, just so I remember it for later. I like sketching more complex drawings on the ipad, which is also why it’s so cleaned up. Then printed on paper and inked on a lightbox. Then scanned and colored on the ipad!

So @magferret made me draw these characters from memory… Bonkers is the only one I’ve drawn before but I think I accidentally drew @Kosperry haha!
I’m suprised at the others, didn’t see Cats Don’t Dance in 5+ yrs and never saw any Zorori but I guess my brain saved space for ‘em!

Here’s a timelapse of that Tom and Jerry drawing from earlier! Lots of shoving around and re-doing lines. I’d have to draw them a whole lot more to get a better understanding of their shapes in my head (Tom’s muzzle is unusual!)

Hanna and Barbera’s Tom and Jerry turned 80 today! I’ve never really drawn them before, which is crazy since I studied classic drawings of them when I started teaching myself how to draw and it really shows through in my drawing style.
