Emilio Aickelin, artists’ materials shop was on Via 22 Marzo, Venice. Among the artists known to have used materials from Aickelin were Claude Monet and John Singer Sargent. Monet designed an advertisement for Aickelin’s shop.

@VenetiaJane In Greece we call it Paschalia from the Greek Pascha, where it grows in the nature. Such a splendid scent it has! Even van Gogh portrayed it!
