"Buu" is indeed the standard Japanese sound effect for a fart. Oh Toriyama, always keeping things classy.

We're in full-on "relying too much on the dragon balls" mode now.

Lots of people cited this as Vegeta apologizing for letting Cell get perfect, but I really don't see that at all.
