Day 7 of #Spectember: On an alien world, one of the main groups of complex life are planimals called Daphnians: that through alternation of generations change back and forth from 'plant' to 'animal'. Over millions of years, these have evolved into a myriad of forms.

Decided to try and join a #paleostream, learned that I haven't drawn an ankylosaur in so long that I had no idea what I was doing.
@MetTiinA Also reminds me of the flightless pterosaurs from Peter Jackson's King Kong, only seen in the art book.
Favourite art I made in 2019, I guess. Only in the latter part of year I actually made finished pieces, it's mostly sketches and unfinished pictures. Even though I don't get much attention, posting it to twitter has helped a lot in encouragement.
