Recycling this Spidey drawing, cause I can’t show too much new art yet.
This cool Joker page from the Joker War arc in Detective Comics is still available! I marked it down a bit to compensate for increased shipping prices. https://t.co/AjLf48RibA
If I’m understanding correctly, all I have to do to social media correctly this week is take whatever Batman art I have lying around and drop some red over it. Score!
SNIPE and SLUG! It’s always fun watching colors come in on a project, but it’s 100x more satisfying on something you’re building from scratch. And the great @bdanderson13 never disappoints. I know this is taking longer than we wanted, but I want everything perfect.
Here’s another old cover I did! Inks by Andrew Hennessy, colors by Jason Wright!
@DanSlott Safari Jacket has a special place in my heart, but will probably always be a little silly of a design. This one from early issues of WCA is probably the all around best he's looked:
Annnnd, Starfox. Recent portrayals have shown a more creepy take on him, suggesting that his “pleasure center” powers were inadvertent. Made for a great storyline in She-Hulk, but it wasn’t really presented that way in these Avengers issues. He WAS a member, so here he is.
Wanda, the Scarlet Witch came on with Vision (sorta) leading into a storyline where Vision tried to take over the world. Eventually, she left and they got a maxi-series of their own.
Captain Marvel, who is one of my favorite members of all time, so I wanted to do a different color treatment, with her less powered down palette.
Haven’t had time to do warm up pieces lately while I’m getting an issue of Snipe and Slug going. But I tweaked this Avengers piece to the team from the earlier issues of Roger Stern’s writing, with Al Milgrom and Joe Sinnott! Equally great along with the Buscema/Palmer issues!
