A 3 meter long surprisingly fish like marine reptile, it hunted fish and cephalopods using mainly its large eyes and hydrodynamic body
ALT: A species described somewhat recently and named after Mary Anning, the bone was originally misidentified as plaster

Erbenochile
A 5 m long phacopid,originally known only from the tail, a complete specimen revealed that this trilobite had extremely tall eyes that allowed it to see all around
ALT: A species with slightly smaller eyes, although still quite tall and with a 360° field of view
@WryCritic thin lines make it a bit difficult to turn into something easier to edit but i did something quick
Epicyon
The largest canid known to date and part of a group known as bone-crushing dogs, its powerfull jaws gave its skull a shape closer to a lion than a wolf
ALT: The best known species of the genus, it was synonymized with Aelurodon and back to Epicyon multiple times
