Allosaurus
while it had a relatively weak bite, its mouth could open to up to 80°, some say it could even use it like a hatchet, if it actually did its still on debate
Big Al: a 95% complete specimen, really useful to study the animal, sadly had tons of infections and fractures
Aegirocassis
The earliest giant filter feeder known to date, likely the largest in the world at that time, it was also surprisingly well preserved
Alt: Its name comes form Aegir, the norse personification of the sea with daughters representing the waves, and host of the gods
@Microrapterr ive always said it and ill say it again, my favorite jp designs are the ones that actually make something original making use of the whole hybrid idea
me: oh god what to do for other art day
brain: hey remember those weird stylized sonic fanarts you did in 2017
me: sure why not
PD: i remember being so disappointed of the actual infinite lel
Tuojiangosaurus
really similar to stegosaurus but with thinner plates that look more like altered spikes, its the most complete stegosaur skeleton found in Asia
ALT: it was discovered during the construction of a dam, and then given the name of a river from that same province
Sanchaspis
A filter feeding jawless fish with a large bony shield like head, like other galeaspids it had a structure on its head that made it distinct
ALT: although the hole in front may be confused by mouth is actually a nostril, still it gives a pretty characteristic look
Robertia
A small animal at around 15 cm of length, it had tusks and a beak that helped cut and eat plant matter
ALT: synapsids usually have a quadrupedal lizard like posture, at some point they where known as mammal like reptiles, but they arent considered reptiles anymore
