The "10 Shining Weapons" is a piece of Mega Man Zero's lore first introduced in PR document for the original game. These 10 weapons were made off of the data of the X-Buster and include the X-Buster itself, Zero's Z-Saber, and the Four Guardians' weaponry.

For the English dub of Luminous Avenger iX 2, Copen will be voiced by Alejandro Saab. The only prior English-audio Gunvolt content was the Azure Striker Gunvolt OVA, wherin Copen was instead voiced by Peter Von Gomm.

As of Luminous Avenger iX 2, the intro stages featured in the iX-subseries seems to be loosely following with the themes that are in the Mega Man Zero series' intro stages: A desolate, post-apocalyptic city in the first game, and a faraway dune-filled desert in the second.

New gameplay of Luminous Avenger iX 2 showcases Vespa's jungle-themed stage.

It seems to take cues from Noble Mandrago's stage in Mega Man Zero 4, including walls of ivy that regrow shortly after being cut as well as an in-stage enemy seemingly referencing Mandrago herself.
