these last few pages, where terezi fails to kill vriska and that leads to vriska's fight with jack which leads to everyone's deaths, this has all been terezi's pov

she's seen the consequences of her failure in her mind's eye, and so she will NOT fail in this timeline

doc scratch explains the power of a seer, somthn i talked about a little earlier, about how a seer of mind can see the thoughts and potential actions of others and then using that understanding of their mind, see the consequences of those actions

with the power of rolling some rly good dice, vriska is able to challenge jack noir on pretty even terms, and doc scratch suggests that she will probably even win...

buuuuut we're bouncing from this timeline right after this so it doesn't rly matter rn

the result of vriska's all 8 roll is she becomes(?) her ancestor, marquis mindfang

the exact nature of how this works is left vague, which i honestly rly like. i think there's alot u could potentially read into this... but i won't cuz i don't think vriska's that interesting lmao

so anyway karkat and terezi are dead

and hey jack came back to fight vriska, that was nice of him. he just had to do a couple murders first

but just a couple! it's only terezi and karkat's blood on him. i honestly have no idea why he didn't kill the rest of the surviving trolls
