i've been thinking for a while about how homestuck is so good at making characters lovable with their introduction text, that i've been waiting to see how it uses this skill when introducing a character we're supposed to hate

so nepeta goes to equius to ask permission to join karkat's little gamer gang, and a very long conversation ensues

usually i'd just skip or skim over these, but there's SO MUCH to unpack here so we're gonna go over fucking all of it

back in karkat's introduction it's established that we're skipping all the arm and defecation jokes in the introductions cuz we gotta get thru 12 of these mfs
