Back page of the last issue of THE TOPPER comic for 1961. The calendar isn’t reusable for 2022 but still very cool 😊
Front cover of the Firework number of THE TOPPER in 1955, plus an assortment of appropriately-themed panels from the strips inside:
My new blogpost covers the rest of The Spooktacular 7 (ex-Scream Inn) strip by Brian Walker in WHOOPEE! weekly comics from the ‘70s: https://t.co/7qZyBgLxWF
Front covers of a few British comics, all for 13th August, 1966. I wish I had copies of THE BEEZER, THE DANDY and THE TOPPER for those dates in my collection, but I don’t ☹

Here’s a selection of covers of IPC comics from my collection, all with today’s date in 1973. If I had to choose my favourite one, I’d pick COR!! because of The Goodies art by Joe Colquhoun. He is best remembered for his ‘serious’ strips but I really like his humorous style too.
