Nice Brain Duane sequence by Tom Paterson from THE DANDY comic in 1997. I don’t know who wrote Brain Duane scripts but they worked really well for Tom Paterson.
This is one of the few BUSTER covers by Leo Baxendale. It is also one of the very rare occasions when Buster looses his trademark cap. As far as I know, this only happened four times during the 40-year run!
Here’s another episode of SMASHER in The Dandy comic from 1998 featuring the ‘young, incredibly handsome, wealthy and famous’ Dandy artist 😀. I can’t decipher the two words in parentheses after his signature at the bottom of the last panel:
