Marianne's swirls represent empty eye sockets. (My) Ghosts appear as a distorted form of their state before death, and Marianne was absolutely mutilated. She doesn't remember much from being human, and doesn't need eyes to see.
I wonder what she'd look like with no swirls?

It's come to my attention that it doesn't read very well, but my monkeys have no fur on their hands. That's their skin.

Thanks to @BigGirlSandwich and @MerlinCross for their outfit suggestions. I used Midsommar more as visual inspiration, and she's not wearing Demon, just copied the look.
