Hey, it's #PortfolioDay I'm Jason, this is some of my latest and greatest.
Vogar, Necropolis Tyrant. Done for the new MTG special release Game Night 2022.
This guy was a fun experiment on how to create form from chaos. Many little elements combined to create something much bigger than the individual parts.
I'll be heading to Orlando in a few weeks! and this is not the last time I will say so, because I'm excited to be there and will simply be this excited until the actual show, at which point, I'll still be pretty damn excited.
I will have 8 brand new tokens! #CommandFestOrlando
Bonecaller Cleric, done for MTG Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate. I had fun with the various tones and subtle color shifts in this one, playing with mood and atmosphere in a night scene.
Faldorn Dreadwolf Herald, done for MTG:Baldurs Gate Commander Legends. Loved playing with color and tone on this one. Forest backgrounds are always an opportunity to get crazy with composition, but I loved the symmetry of this idea, and how much it kept the focus on Faldorn.
My new planeswalker card got previewed today. She's a pretty strong card too!
#MTGCapenna
Hgathu, Daimos of Destruction. Designed for Draco Studios Demons of the Hollowdepths. The oldest of the demon lords, and perhaps the oldest living thing in existence, it is eternal entropy made manifest.
Assamaeil the First. Designed for Draco Studios Demons of the Hollowdepths.
Archon of Awe. Assamaeil was the first of Daimos. Far from their creator, but an example to follow. So vast is his presence, and so entrancing his being.
Myojin of Grim Betrayal, done for MTG:Kamigawa Neon Dynasty. One of my favorites I've done for Magic in recent years, this guy was incredibly fun to design. This was a perfect opportunity to make slightly more surrealist Magic art, a combo I absolutely love.
The Devourer, another of my demon lords designed for Draco Studios Demons of the Hollowdepths. Pretty much everything qualifies as food to this guy, and boy is he hungry.
