lmao he named his kingdom 𝙒𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙗𝙖, meaning "A thousand cities" now I'm not saying this is the ancient kingdoms name, but the meaning of the name MIGHT hold relevance in the story. A thousand cities gathered as One Kingdom.. the name of the Ancient kingdom is… One Piece.
Even though Joyoboyo reigned over what is now known as the kingdom of Kediri in Java, he actually gave his kingdom a name of his own! The name of that ancient kingdom is... *gets shot*
Joyoboyo/Nika's most famous prophecy is the "javanese people being ruled by whites" (the Dutch lol) "for centuries and will then be freed by the yellow dwarfs from the north (LMAO)" the javanese welcomed the japanese as liberators and were shortly after given independence
"Mothers selling their children, men sat in governments, the evil is promoted and considered just, innocent people are shackled & enslaved,.."
King Joyoboyo (or Nika) was also said to be the incarnation of a buddhist guardian deity Vishnu, a supreme being. Joyoboyo was a long awaited king that was reborn to bring the people out of "the Dark age of suffering" & restore justice and harmony to the world
Just like Crocodile's goal with Alabasta & Pluton returned to the story, so too will Enel and his second chapter completed. Birka's a very old city with high lore potential even for the void century. Jaya was catapulted into the sky, Birka's the invert. It was dragged to the sea
After rereading Skypeia I'm lowkey convinced one of the final islands the crew is going to visit is Birka, Enel's homeland. Hear me out, originally I thought it was just destroyed, but it was actually indirectly TOLD to us it was just dragged down to the Blue Sea!
I'm very tempted to make a thread of EVERY single time Luffy/SH's were really lucky/fated in the story, but this shit will require actually rereading all of OP 😭 maybe someday.
There's a lot of forgotten instances like them meeting Mr. 2 first
