This was the final Orbak design where we went with a long coat. The face was intended to be a mask with the horse looking through the nostrils. But a change in the shooting schedule meant we ended up replacing the face digitally.

Orbak concept for #TheRiseofSkywalker. We needed to find solutions to make the real horses alien without compromising movement so tried different ways to alter the silhouette with fabrics or hair, leaving the head/face to be replaced digitally. #StarWars #creaturedesign
