@orangefishmen @TheSpaceshipper @rchurchdesign @andreewallin The aim was to create something with a simple silhouette. I pitched a ball with legs. The 3 main influences were the flu virus, a lamprey mouth and a dog’s squeaky ball toy…you can see the ball texture in a later concept. These are the refs I used from back then ⬇️

This was the final Orbak design where we went with a long coat. The face was intended to be a mask with the horse looking through the nostrils. But a change in the shooting schedule meant we ended up replacing the face digitally.
