I've been using Clip Studio for a couple years for drawing, inking, and perspective but in the past couple days I've been painting with it and it feels so good! This is based off of a location out in the Owyhees and yes, that Arcanine has a chew toy.

Did a quick painting of a hadrosaur clutch after a month away at conferences. According to experts the eggs were likely not camouflaged and were cared for as young by the parents. Feels good to be back in Boise and at my drawing table again!

Does anyone remember fall carnivals as a kid? I was never good/lucky enough to win a beta fish, or maybe my parents didn't let me. I can't remember. Here is a quick memorial for them.

Halloween is always my favorite holiday! The occult comes to focus and I pretty much dedicate myself to eating as many pumpkin seeds as possible. Here's a detail of a speed painting that I completed over the weekend.

Here's a little preview of a painting I did for a gallery show celebrating 25 years of Morely Nelson wilderness. The wilderness is the largest congregation of raptor nestings in the world. This little chick is a western screech owl.
