Here is this morning’s daily drawing.
(I do a daily drawing about once a week and call it a daily drawing — both to put pressure on myself to draw more, and make it sound like I’m drawing all the time. I’m not.)
Ink and lazy color pencil.
Okay, done. Will try again tomorrow, maybe.
As always, trying to get back into the habit of daily drawing.
Had a few idle but pleasant moments trapped on the sofa, pinned underneath a sleeping cat. Took the time to doodle a couple of people on the iPad. Based on YouTube talking heads from news programs.
Drawn during a brainstorm for an #illustration at work. It wasn’t quite on-topic but I did have a couple of other ideas while I doodled.
Managed to scratch out a few sketches in the midst of a small bout of insomnia last night. Drawn from a few heads in the Twitter-feed. It’s nice to draw for fun but i hope work isn’t going to be a terribly sleepy challenge today.
Here is my illustration that ran a week or two ago in the @mercnews and the @EastBayTimes.
Fellow Californians, you know what to do.
Vote, dammit.

Early morning insomnia head studies. Referenced from photos/old comics/other artists’s sketches. Drawn in #CLIPSTUDIO for iPad.
Took the kid to the park after work, just before sundown.
Still very hot.
Sketched a couple of folks, fed about 30 mosquitos, and started to go for a walk but it was getting dark and not getting any cooler. It just wasn’t worth it.
Back home and it’s hot in here, too.
