A small fragment of a rough I made for a project at work. Didn’t end up using it. Back when I made unusable roughs on paper I would throw them away, now I post them on Twitter.
Same thing? Shrug.
Doodled in Clip Studio for iPad.
I hope, someday soon, I can restore my twitter stream as a place to share & enjoy arts & letters and info – much less politics and bad news.
Prolly won’t get that lucky, tho.
Anyway, here are arts for “pinned tweet” purposes.
I’m an illustrator/graphic artist for TheMercuryNews.
Robert Louis Stevenson and his wife, Fanny. One of a few drawings for an article about RLS that I sketched two or so months ago. Just found it in my photo stream. How’d it get there? Tweet then delete.
Found a rough for an illustration I did a year or two ago. I don’t think I shared the final – I wasn’t very happy with it. These are kind of fun scribbles, tho. For a story about drivers cheating strategies for using the carpool lane.
Scribbling, doodling and messing around with the #CLIPSTUDIO animation tools. Limited to 24 frames for the moment, but pretty fun!
A few doodles from last week. Abstract shapes that turned into landscapes and a couple that resisted and remained abstracts.
Posted a couple of my recent newspaper illustrations on my blog: https://t.co/KE5AjMEsBB
And made these little #doodles while sitting with my sick daughter just now.
Only managed one decent little iPad doodle during my daughter’s ballet class this morning.
