One exception is the zoomorphic representation of Mercury as a dragon-like figure. Described as a "black snake with four legs, eating a crab" 形如黑蛇有四足而食蟹.

Mercury in East Asia is generally always illustrated as a woman with a brush and sheet of paper.

@LaliMAndrade The image of Rahu is from a Japanese manuscript brought over from China. I haven't seen Rahu associated with Shiva before. Rudra atop a bull is seen in the depiction of Ārdrā the nakṣatra.
