@sasanianshah @MarcoCampa10 Shiva is associated with the nakṣatra Ārdrā, and not Rāhu or Ketu. We have Rudra and the bull in the "Vedic" set of nakṣatras in East Asia:
Ārdrā (Chinese Shen 參) is associated with Rudra. The Atharvavedapariśiṣṭā (4.2) states, “... rudrasyā ārdrā.”). Thus the icon we see in East Asia is reflective of the god Śiva on his reclining bull, nowadays called Nandi.
Saturn in Indian and Sino-Indian (or Indo-Japanese!) depictions often rides an elephant.
