I feel like I'm finally finding my niche, trying to focus more on horror and bizarre creatures rather than realistic scenes.
I learned how to us photobashing textures to get the gritty feel I've always wanted from my art!

Did a HUGE project with 52 illustrations for a book about aquatic cryptids, but I don't think it ever came off the ground :/
More horror art than fantasy art for the first time, also designed a spooky daiki for myself (shut up don't judge) and some worldbuilding!

Launch of my Teespring store!
And more work on Quill & Cauldron's books and Heroes of Tenefyr's expansion pack!
Getting back into drawing traditionally too!

AND first time attending a con to advertise myself and my art, which was pretty kewl too!

More Quill & Cauldron, contributing to Heroes of Tenefyr and collaborating on a second children's book!
Style is still growing, trying to do more with dramatic lighting and also developing the patience to work in more detail!

We are getting somewhere!
The first time working on a children's book, the first time working with Quill & Cauldron Press, first time drawing Batman Rogues.
My style slowly but surely is getting recognizable now!

We're leaving the years of second-hand embarrassment!
This was the year I remember starting actively watching tutorials and experimenting more with the capabilities of PS.
In fact, though execution might be eh, I feel like some of these designs still hold up!

The year that marks the arrival of my firstborn: My Wacom Bamboo! ❤️
The lady knight and guy in (what I think is) a straight jacket are the first things I've ever drawn with it.
Also, my Minecraft obsession was still going strong...

A bit of an experiment, tied to replicate that actual 'traditional painting'-feel by trying not to focus on minute details and letting the brushes do most of the work.

Pretty gnarly IMHO!
