@mrTteaching @one_to_read @sharperpencils Yes it was Ish I thought of in response to your request @sharperpencils
The Mouse Before Christmas by Tracey Turner & Jenny Lovlie is a new take on the well known classic, The Night Before Christmas. It utterly charmed me with mouse Santa & tiny mice in matchboxes, thimble vases & a cotton reel table. Thank you @SunbirdKidBooks 🎄
Shine, Star, Shine by is another beautifully illustrated edition to this series written by @dom_conlon and illustrated by @Izlesou It cleverly reads lyrically as a story while at the same time sharing fascinating facts about the stars. I learnt so much!
@primaryteachew @_Reading_Rocks_ A couple of children’s books I read last Christmas
Reading so far this summer has been some of the most memorable, stay-with-you-for-a-long-time reads and When The Sky Falls by @philearle is no exception. I’ve seen so much love for this book, deservedly so. It’s moving, powerful, full of love & hope and impossible to put down.
And Tango Makes Three by Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell illustrated by Henry Cole #WorldPenguinDay
@2ndtimeMama @MrHtheteacher @richreadalot Set mainly in Brazil and also Wales.
@emmasuffield @SarahCrossan @louisareid @acevedowrites The Girl Who Became a Tree by Joseph Coelho is excellent.
