Painting I made for a historical themed board games a few years back. This is Henry the Fowler, a king of East Frankia (Germany) in the early middle ages, whom is a playable character in the game.
Hope you like it!
All the best,

Oainting from around 4 years ago that I made for the Dark Ages boardgame. I tend to revisitwork over time if I feel it is worth it. In this piece I played a lot with color and readability. This is Garcia Sanchez, a medieval Duke from Pamplona, Spain, a playable leader in the game.
Happy to be able to share a new painting I made!
This is a private commission I wrapped up last week, an Elvish Hag.
The briefing provided by the client was rich with imagination and lore, making working on this piece a lot of fun.
I hope you like it!
All the best,
JCH
The last panel could as well be "when I go make coffee and come back to look at it"

Over the years I tend to revisit older work, if I feel it is worth the effort. In this piece I played a lot with color and mood lately.
Painting from a few years ago, a Judaic warrior from the Khazar Khaganate. (For my Magic the Gathering Portfolio)
Spent a good amount of time on this painting, perhaps a bit too much, but I learned a lot in the process & the piece is among the more popular pieces in my oeuvre.
It's #PortfolioDay already!

This is pretty sad. Envious folks accusing random artists falsely of making AI art and apparently banning them (Even though its pretty evident the image below is not AI).
