Painting I made a bit more than a year ago, a Temple Guardian from ancient Judea.

I took heavy inspiration from painter Ludwig Deutsch, a major driving force throughout the process that inspired me to set the mood and overall apparel.

The process was a bit different than usual; I wanted to focus on the energy of the piece as well as the narrative over the details initially (something I tend to prioritize in my previous work).

New painting!

I was commissioned by Monte Cook Games to paint a few images, including this modern-fantasy piece for their newly announced project: Adventures in the Cypher System.

The main inspiration for the background was Central Park in NYC.

Here is an Hebrew Arbiter (1300 BC). A tribal warrior with the task of enforcing the laws of the supreme leader, the Great Judge. 1/2
