Coming soon... A new podcast with me, @Randall77 and Ross Cleaver, where we laugh at things and also investigate 'British Horror'. Called 'General Witchfinders', the first episode is being recorded very soon. First on the review list- the epic 'Dracula A.D.1972'. Artwork by me!
After Lucian Frued, Reflection (Self-portrait), 1985. Oil on paper, for sale.
Good afternoon everyone! Hope you're keeping well. Here is today's relaxing painting- Liverpool: America Dock by Christopher Chamberlain (he of 'Dangerous Corner). Love the light in this, and the intersection of the man with bike, and lorry. All lines meet at the cycle wheel.
I fell into a Walker Evans Polaroid wormhole the other day, while looking for something else. Amazing to think he was taking these in his 70s, forty years after his most famous work.
Newly digitised from the archive. From a Mod/Scooterist weekend in Scarborough at Easter 1998. Film, obviously! #mod #mods #wearethemods #quadrophenia #scooterist
It appears that recently I cracked 'flipping' colour negatives (people know what that is right?) after trying for years and years. I'm absolutely loving using film again, now I can right down into the grain. @ffotojenic on very expired colour film, gifted by @GregMothersdale
