Throwback Thursday - 1998 -2018:
As the photos of my work from 2018-2022 are being processed professionally by someone and taking a bit of time due to being busy, here is a brief look back at my artistic development from 1998 - 2018! #artcollector #emergingartists #abstractart
Throwback Thursday - 2006:
A very quick tiny #Cyprus painting made outside immediately after seeing a configuration of colours & forms in the #landscape which appealed to me, and then abstracting that scene.

Focal Point - The #Cyprus Paintings 2005-6:
An inspiring year of painting #enpleinair in the tranquil, lush and sun drenched #Lemba landscapes.
These are not #landscape #paintings but about #abstraction, #abstracting from #Nature.

Influence: #PeterLanyon
His #postcubist #art (top pics) was about an experiential sense of place, using multi-viewpoints & referencing history. It enriched my #painting (bottom pics)-I began looking beyond one viewpoint of landscapes & evoking an immersive experience of a place.
Influence: Monet
#Monet (top left pic) was possibly the 1st artist I studied, before I took up painting seriously (the other 3 pics are mine) & wrote my 1st essay on him.
His colourful immersive semi-#abstractlandscapes & gestural strokes I'm sure had a profound impact on me
