Focal Point -Artistic development:

My art from 2018-now (still being finished) combines my previous periods (the improvised '04 works; colour/spontaneity/lushness of '05-6 Cyprus works; 2016 geometric works; '13-'18 collaged relic works -see 4 pics👇) into a coherent language.

Statement:

The thrilling magical adventure of discovering abstract feasts for the eyes (often challenging aesthetics) is essentially what my art has been about (since 2003) and what excites me. Experiences in places inspire me.

The reason I paint essentially is to create visual excitement/ aesthetics, using the elements of colour, shape, rhythm, contrasts & textures.

I see my abstract paintings as having a life of their own, initially inspired by experiences in places.
