#TolkienTrewsday so “water” was a bit of a headscratcher of a theme but of course: Lake-town. A view of Lake-town rebuilt from The One Ring RPG 1e and the map from the Lake-town Guide.
Dug this one out last night. There’s a version somewhere with the whole Carr Dallben gang, which I really must finish. I think that Hen Wen could go larger too.
@FenrisGames I really need to finish this. There’s a version with the whole Caer Dallben famsquad.
Throwback Wednesday. So right back at the early days of art creation for The One Ring 1e, a call had come info from SFX magazine that they wanted some art for a feature. I got the call from the boss to move Smaug up the queue. Trefoil tail was important. ;)
#TolkienTrewsday Today’s theme is song, and I had to dig deep into the Mathom-house for this one.
From the TOR 1e Lake-town supplement. A friend of the game, wise in the ways of song. In 300+ images there were very few renderings of real people. This was one of the exceptions.
#TolkienTrewsday - This week’s theme is Trees. I made this painting as a personal piece before I could share anything made The One Ring RPG before release. Later this one appeared in the @FNepitello card game Hobbit Tales.
The first month of the Inspired by Middle-earth project is live over at https://t.co/savtue1vDm
Art tier folks get all the notes and the art, as well as VTT tokens for these characters.
I'm currently deciding where we'll head for inspiration next month! #middleearth
Happy Birthday JRR Tolkien. This year for my art tier patrons at https://t.co/savtue1vDm I’ll be heading back into Middle-earth and exploring new visuals inspired by the peoples and places of the Third Age.
(Like ok ok, I give in. I’ll do it! 🙂 )
Some fresh art by me for Jacob Rodgers’ latest mini-scenario for BEOWULF Age of Heroes / the Serpent Of Glennredïn which came out today! https://t.co/BxQ221xHWT
