@kellysue @whatthe_shea @alexrcarr @DCComics You're right, this calls for more of a Tina dance
So the word is out...I'm doing a two part story in Aquaman starting in August! Eternally grateful to @kellysue, @whatthe_shea and @alexrcarr for this opportunity! And to get to tell this specific story about Jackson? I'm so excited for this. Wait till you see Marco's artwork!!!
If you haven't read Ed Brubaker and Darwyn Cooke's Catwoman, track it all down and enjoy one of the best, most stylish, and engrossing noir stories ever told in comics. It's one of those perfect books you continue to marvel at no many how many times you read it.
Doctor Strange: The Oath is a book I shouldn't really have to sell. It's Brian K. Vaughan and Marcos Martin going all out to tell one of the best and most gorgeous looking Doctor Strange stories ever. What more do you need?
Everyone should know by now my unparalleled love for Taskmaster, and @fredvanlente and Jefte Palo made my favorite Tasky story. Amazing depth and character added by Van Lente along with a crazy trip around the world. Palo's art is everything, love the way he draws Taskmaster!
More amazing painted work next with Elektra by @HadenBlackman and @DeadlyMike. I love this book. Lots of great character work here with Elektra plus some amazing action sequences by Mike. There's a criminal underworld, ninjas, and dragons, what more could you want?
It's Wednesday, which means I have more #NTYCBD recs! Starting with the insane Bucky Barnes: Winter Soldier by @ales_kot and @Marco_Rudy. This book is a literal trip with so many layers and gorgeous work by Marco. It's cosmic, it's existential, also there's a planet that's a gun.
And finally Sato by me and @Cosmoquences about a sato dog trying to find it's people after hurricane Maria.
Kane Maverick is one of my first ever comics! It's about a hero from a world of non stop action who gets pulled into ours and has to solve problems he can't punch or blow up, like bad landlords or student loans.
