@child_soviet I'm looking at some Russian theatre sets from Ballet Russes and beyond. What a breakthrough it must have been - well we know it was - into the pastel fairy world of ballet.
@child_soviet more work from Alexander Samokhvalov who lived and worked in Leningrad/St Petersburg - these very sporty, fit surdy women remind me of those women loved by John Betjeman in verse.
