@bleeding_sun They have the Blackwell series, about a young woman who can communicate with spirits of dead people and she tries to put them at rest by solving unfinished businesses, until she realizes something more sinister is going on.
And Resonance, a dark and clever cyberpunk adventure.
@bleeding_sun Alright, that's about it.
Sorry for the spam it's hard to stop because I like so many of them...
(and in case you didn't know the legendary monkey island series about pirates, I'll use it on the this final tweet)
@bleeding_sun Shadow of Memories :
You are killed in the streets, you wake up in a dark room.
A voice gives you the ability to rewind time and prevent it.
This path leads you into different eras.
An early konami ps2 game, it's technically dated but it still has charm, it has multiple endings.
@bleeding_sun Simon the Sorcerer 2 : A young man with questionable moral is called back to save the day in the world of magic and fairy tales.
Simon being a jerk is funny and refreshing at times, the tales are twisted, lots of meta and 4 wall breaking humor.
Old school fantasy as the base.
@bleeding_sun Blade Runner the game :
It hasn't visually aged very well, but the atmosphere of the film is 100% translated into the game.
The story is really good, who is a replicant changes on new playthroughs so it can lead to wild outcomes.
A remaster is planned soon, so maybe wait for it.
@bleeding_sun Broken Age, it was split in two parts for its release, I have not played part 2 yet, and I understand it's less well received, but I really loved part 1. All hand drawn, two fates intertwined, one is a boy in space, the other a girl meant to be a sacrifice to a "god". Charming.
@bleeding_sun @Demifiendcturne Broken Sword, it's basically a cartoony and a bit laid back Indiana Jones, with a bigger emphasis on history and mythology + fantastical rewrites.
He globe trots quite a bit so there's France, Ireland, Syria, Spain etc.. Remaster of the 2nd game is good, first remaster is iffy.
