Spend way too long figuring out how to use Mash in Maya to make these bushes tonight.
Broken apart duplicate parts helps to identify which parts are needed to build the kit, rotated or re-used parts deleted for now so each segment can be made and then re-assembled with smaller supporting detail parts.
finished the clean high-poly tonight, I merge subtools together that I plan to combine in the low-poly mesh and keep poly groups that will be useful in painter when I bake and add materials. #WIP #samusaran #metroid #zbrush #3dart
I use a custom little 3-part curve brush for stylized hair. If I want it to look more broken up I grab some edge loops with move auto radius in z-modeler brush. #3dmodeling #Metroid #Samus #zbrush
